I was out flying today, and after a few hard crashes I decided I should write a glowing review of just how sturdy this quadcopter has been.I started with the all of the accessories installed and flew it around indoors to get use to the controls. I found that MODE 2 works better for me. Once I got comfortable with it, I decided that I didn't need to use the blade guards unless I was indoors.At this point, I don't use the camera much and have long since removed the blade guards and landing gear. It's very fun to fly outside as long as there isn't too much wind that it gets blown away faster than it can fly back.Now for the main reason I am writing this review...I am still a beginner and this is my first quadcopter. I tend to crash...a lot. And I'm not talking about rough landings and bumping into things. I'm talking about a stripped down, sleek machine flying full speed with a tail wind and hitting a wooden post square on. At this point, I'm not sure how many hard crashes like this I've had, but it's been a lot and this thing is still flying. If you're going to be hitting posts, buildings, the ground, trees, and get grabbed out of the air by a dog, then it's going to damage parts. Bent wings (none have broken so just bend them straight to keep flying), punctures, missing LED lenses, and a cracked body are just going to happen with severely rough flying.I have bought two things- extra batteries (six 3.7v 680 mAh with a neon green charger) and spare screws to replace one I lost. I highly recommend buying more batteries so you don't have to wait 90 minutes after six minutes of flying.All in all, this has been an excellent first quad, and I have recommended it (or the X5C since it's basically the same thing but with an on-board recording camera instead of FPV) to friends and family.
